MotorMavens Ident Bumper from Andy Sapp on Vimeo.

This short 5-second animation (which loops three times) is something I created to preface online video efforts for MotorMavens.

I think you could have spent a bit more time on the original Photoshop file to give more depth and a painted on look. Id est: Where the corners of the bricks are broken and between the bricks themselves, the paint wouldn’t be perfectly painted on, or you wouldn’t see it at all. A little more time in Photoshop, means less time in AfterEffects; Assuming you did it in after effects, and not something like Motion.

I would also like to have seen more lead time with the “road” under the logo.

    I like it though.

I do see what you mean. I actually didn’t use Photoshop at all… I put it all together inside of After Effects. I like how it turned out, but it still doesn’t move quite how I wanted it to, so I’m sure I will go back and revise it at some point.

Thanks for the feedback, buddy! It is always good to get a good critique!
