I came across this short video segment from the 2007 design tournament: Cut&Paste. My good friend Dosa Kim placed 2nd at the New York leg of the world-wide tour. This video had me on the floor laughing because of Dosa’s comment about his old clientele here in Atlanta. Even funnier to me, because I did the same thing for about 3 years.
Dosa lost out to Mate Steinforth of Psyop fame. Hopefully Dosa will enter this year’s competition, and take everyone out at the knees.
I came across some of the Cartoon Network “Action Flicks” bumpers that I did stunt driving for.
These clips are short and sweet, but very cool!

The video loop I created for the Advanced Armament Corp. SHOT Show booth. Features footage from various competitions, training classes, and the AAC Silencer Shoot. This video also features a visual breakdown of the 2009 product line.
A lot of effort went into this project… especially the motion graphics segment at the end of the video. Every element was individually animated (sparked text, script text, silencers, flash hiders, individual specifications, etc.), and composited to the music.
Soundtrack: “Beware the Circling Fin” by Early Man.

I was able to get WordPress upgraded to 2.7. A ways back I was unable to get 2.6 to work, so I’ve been running 2.5 forever. So far I am really liking the new version.
I made a few tweaks behind the scenes to make the site more 2.7 friendly. I was finally able to sort out some of the issues I had with the sidenav. The categories now list atop the sidenav… instead of at the bottom. I had to pull the search function off temporarily, because it was breaking the page… but it will be back soon. Expect some refreshing here-and-there to the site over the next few weeks. I’ve been so slammed with work that I have neglected this site a good bit. If you see anything broken or wrong… please let me know, so I can fix it. |

I’m pressed for time… but this is turning out NICE.
With a MASSIVE effort behind it… The 2009 Advanced Armament Corp. catalog is finally complete. This project was an immense undertaking, and I am very glad to see it finished. I have been wrenching on the design, layout, and revisions for months. I’m VERY pleased with the result, and extremely proud of the final product.
