Lieze undertook a HUGE task, and helped me bag up and label all of our Slide Styleâ„¢ tees. This will help make selling the shirts at events less confusing, and look more appealing. We should have done this ages ago. An enormous thanks to Lieze for working so hard on these!!!

This is a short example of how I use motion tracking and 3D cameras inside of After Effects to reduce shaky video shots from vehicle-mounted cameras. I use a lot of unconventional tricks in AE in an effort to make drift videos that are different and unique.
This clip was shot at Southeast Drift’s Triple Threat III event at Turner Field in Atlanta, GA.
This shot features Erin Sanford and Austin Lawless running chase tandem, while I’m running lead with the camera mounted on my rear bumper.
This clip differs from most “chase-cam” shots, in that the shooting car is also drifting.
This is the same shooting style I used for “KILL OR BE KILL”.

All of the jagged points are camera shake. By implementing a 3D camera and using these track points as anchor point data for the camera, I am able to smooth out the camera movement with a simple expression.
A video clip of the collision between David Jones and I from Southeast Drift‘s Triple Threat III. The damage was minor on both cars. I love the fact that we don’t get out to check the scars… we just line back up and go at it again.
What can I say. The third and final installment if Southeast Drift‘s Triple Threat series was an amazing finale. I had a feeling going into this event that two things would happen: my camera would fall off a car, and someone would wreck. Both wound up happening (to me)… but such is inevitable. The advanced-tandem sessions were getting closer with every run. Everyone has stepped their game up. It’s amazing to see that Atlanta still kills it… through thick and thin.

Multi-car madness.

This is what it’s all about.

KILL.
